RSS feed... Site Content Custom Firmware 5.55 TMX-1 Released *Update: Fake CFW!*

Update: Due to our testing and the fact the original install file included an Mp3. We have labelled this Custom Firmware 5.55 TMX-1 nothing but a cheap fake. PSP-1000 users result in the same thing. Nothing. Shame on Team MX…. If its not a fake, by all means prove us wrong Team MX.

-vshetc
–cptbl.dat
–index_01g.dat
–index_02g.dat
–index_03g.dat
–MyProg.exe
–unins000.dat
–unins000.exe

None of these would insure 5.55 CFW would boot, not even a version fake could work.

Due to the recent interest Team MX have received in regards to their CFW 5.55 TMX-1, they have released 5.55CF TMX-1 Beta. This installer installs 5.55 firmware components at various points in the flash0 of your PSP. Since its touching flash0 there is a risk of bricking your PSP. And Team MX have noted that this has been only tested on a PSP-1000. Also not that this is a beta and not fully tested.

If you try this on a PSP-2000 TA-88v3 or more. Plus a PSP-3000 you could risk a permanent brick. Don’t come and cry to us as we have warn you!

In a few hours I’ll attempt to install this on my PSP-2000 TA-85 and post the results plus clear installation instructions if it works!!

Edit: I ran the installer and installed this to my Flash0 and reset my PSP-2000 TA85. No changes, nothing happened! I guess it could be PSP-1000 only? Also why the hell did they padded the rar file with an MP3 to make it look like a legitimate size. I smell something fishy!

Custom Firmware 5.55 TMX-1 Release notes:

Is now the time to buy a Playstation 3?

When Sony announced the Playstation 3 in 2006 at the wallet-busting prices of $499 and $599, even serious, dedicated gamers blanched. The new console was expensive enough to put many consumers off entirely, and despite a cut here and there, it’s remained firmly in the "overpriced" camp for many once-eager Sony fans.

But that was then.

Now, the PS3 has been put on a diet, earning a slim, trim new figure and a much healthier price tag of $299. The appropriately-named PS3 Slim launches on September 1, and if you’ve been waiting for the right time to take the Playstation plunge, this could be your big chance. So, is it worth it?

In a word, yes. In more words, read on.
Time to buy a PS3?

Is it time to buy a PS3? You decide.

We’re impressed with the PS3 Slim. It's significantly lighter (nearly 4 pounds), thinner (about 33% less hefty), and greener (34% less power consumption) -- not to mention much easier to sneak into your overcrowded entertainment center --than its monolithic forbear. With a solid 120 GB hard drive, it packs ample space for most gamers and retains all the online features, Blu-Ray movie playback, and media center functionality that made the original so tempting.

Did we say all the features? Actually, there’s one major omission: some older PS3 models are 'backwards compatible' and will play PS2 games games, but the Slim won’t. According to Sony brass, that feature is gone for good. Bah.

Still, do you really have Playstation 2 games you actually still want to play? What’s that? You have two hundred of them? Better hold on to your PS2, assuming it still works. Of course, the Slim will play any and all PS3 games on the market.

One of the other major changes is the new matte finish, which gives the unit a less "professional" appearance than the old shiny version but at the benefit of fewer fingerprint and dust marks. Really just a toss-up there.

And what about future price drops? They’re a certainty, but will they happen this year? No, and barring serious shifts in the landscape, we doubt we’ll see major cuts next year, either. Sure, you could wait until it’s under $100, as it probably will be in five years or so, but who knows what technological video game insanity could happen between now and then? Shortly after a significant price cut is as good a time to buy as any.

So, we think the 120 GB Slim’s price will be with us for the time being. But could we see yet another PS3 model hit shelves any time soon? Actually, yes, we very well could: FCC filings indicate a good probability that a 250 GB Slim is in the works. But it’ll likely carry a premium price, and with the 120 GB Slim already packing a decent amount of storage, we doubt a larger one will be a good value for most consumers -- unless Sony can muster a tempting bundle deal.

One last thing to consider, of course, is the competition. Microsoft wasn't going to let Sony have all the fun, so they went ahead and dropped the price of their Elite model to $299 -- exactly the same as the PS3 Slim. That's certainly tempting, but keep in mind that when it comes to features, the PS3 still looks like the better deal. Check it out for yourself.

But really no matter how you slice it, if you’ve been sitting on the fence over a PS3 purchase, now’s a great time to dive in. The combination of competitive pricing and smarter design makes it tough to pass up.

Of course, you're going to need some games...

PS3 Slim Vs. Xbox 360 Elite: Tale of the Tape

For the first time in the history of the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 console wars, gamers have a chance to pay the same cash for very similar hardware.

For $299 a happy gamer can land themselves a PS3 Slim or an Xbox 360 Elite. Let's go to the numbers to see how they compare.

Going green? Get a PS3 Slim!

According to a power consumption test conducted by the guys at CNET, Sony's new slimmed down console generally uses less than half the power of the original 60GB PS3, no matter what task it performs. Now that's impressive!

CNET has conducted a test to prove Sony's claim that the new PlayStation 3 Slim is more energy efficient than the previous models and according to their power consumption test:

The PS3 Slim still uses much more power than a typical standalone Blu-ray player like the Samsung BD-P3600, so if you're going to do mostly Blu-ray playback, the PS3 Slim is a real power hog. On the other hand, the Xbox 360 uses about 187 watts while playing a game, which makes the PS3 Slim look like the HD game console for the environmentally conscious. The Nintendo Wii uses a paltry 19 watts, but is standard-def only.

If you've got an older PS3, you might be wondering how much this extra energy consumption is going to cost you over the course of a year. Unless you're playing a lot of video games, the difference isn't that much. If you generally play for about 20 hours a week, you'll save US$13.74 per year using a PS3 Slim vs. an older model. If you're hardcore enough to rack up 50 hours of gaming per week, you'd still only save about US$ 100 over a three-year period. In other words, the PS3 Slim may make you feel better, but it won't make much of a difference in your bank account.

Thanks to Versus for the heads up!

Sony rolls out PSP firmware 6.0 beta for developers

With the PSP Go release date just around the corner, it seems Sony is pretty determined to prevent the hacking community from tinkering their brand new handheld by releasing various firmwares. Now PSPGen is reporting that Sony has already released a brand spanking new beta version of PSP firmware 6.0 for official developers to test their games and adapt with the brand new firmware.

Last time we check, Sony included a mandatory install of OFW 5.55 for some titles that prevents custom firmware users in playing the game. Then, during last week's GamesCom, another firmware 5.70 was spotted inside the PSP Go during a testing event. And now this? According to PSPGen, they're still on the process of learning the changes of the OFW 6.0 so stay tuned.

Japan getting Gran Turismo PSP-3000 bundle, new video shows off GT PSP cockpit view

Gran Turismo may be the headliner for the PSP Go's launch lineup, but Sony isn't about to let gamers forget that the game will also be playable on older PSP models. Over in Japan, they've announced a Gran Turismo PSP bundle not for the Go, but for the PSP-3000.

The Gran Turismo Racing Pack will include a special limited edition piano black PSP-3000 branded with the Gran Turismo logo on the front and sporting "auto exhaust-inspired" titanium black buttons. It'll also come with the game's UMD version and some Polyphony Digital-inspired accessories.

This bundle will be available in Japan on October 1, with the price still to be announced.

And just to continue the Gran Turismo love, here's a gameplay video of the game from GamesCom 2009. This one actually cycles through the game's different view modes, so if you were wondering if Gran Turismo had a cockpit view then you're in luck.

MATCH REPORT: SUNDERLAND 1 CHELSEA 3

A quality performance after the break that yielded Michael Ballack and Deco goals and a Frank Lampard penalty pulled this game around with ease.

Yet again the Blues fell behind to a goal before the interval but sometimes you just can't beat a good cliché and in terms of chances at least, this was a true game of two halves.

Ancelotti's decision to alter his formation may have taken time to work but after a first-half of few genuine openings, work it most certainly did as the Blues came out the dressing room for the second period firing on all cylinders. Sunderland were overrun.

So diamonds are not forever after all. Instead a 4-3-2-1 team shape was utilised from the start of this game, Deco and Kalou playing behind spearhead Drogba, with Ballack, Essien and Lampard further back. Chelsea were heavy in numbers in the centre of the park against Sunderland's middle two.

There was also a change at the back where Branislav Ivanovic was paired with John Terry against Kenywne Jones and Darren Bent.

Sunderland away

With the game underway, Lampard's second-minute snap shot from a Deco knock back was skewed well over. Sunderland went up the other end and Bent broke free but shot wide.

In Chelsea's next period of attack, Bosingwa struck a testing cross from deep into the box and Essien fired off-target. But it was a pretty even start to the game.

With quarter-of-an-hour gone, Chelsea were beginning to press the home side back, especially down our right flank.

However only two minutes more passed before Sunderland were ahead and there was a hint of Hull's goal at the weekend about it as the ball once again broke kindly for the opponents.

This time it was as Ivanovic and Terry challenged Jones on the edge of the area and an attempted pass forward diverted off the skipper into Darren Bent's path. As he did last season for Tottenham at the Bridge, the striker finished low past Cech.

Ballack skied a shot a long, long way over on his side's first attempt to level matters up. The chances when they came were all from the edge of the area or further.

Cattermole was the game's first booking (no surprise there) on 28 minutes for a late challenge on Ivanovic and Deco briefly threatened to put Kalou through with a well-spotted pass but it skipped off the turf and through to the keeper.

When Ballack did finally strike on-target, after a corner was cleared his way, Cattermole was in the right place to clear the powerful shot off the line.

The remainder of the first half was midfield bustle and inactivity for the two goalkeepers. An improvement would be needed after the interval.

Lampard's early scuffed shot from 25 yards into the sidenetting showed little sign of change but then the Blues forcefully won consecutive corners, the second of which Drogba thumped just over with his forehead.

Lampard then struck a reverse pass over to Cole who looked about to score as the ball was kicked off his head. It was a momentary respite for Steve Bruce's men. The corner that followed found its way to Ballack's feet at the far post and this time he found the gap between the upright and the man on the line. It was all square with 51 minutes played.

The next action saw Ivanovic booked for checking the attacking run of Jones but from 20 yards out, the Sunderland striker couldn't make Chelsea pay with the free kick.

The same could not be said of Drogba on the hour when with ball at his feet he decided to take on McCartney in the box. Going first outside, the Chelsea striker checked back inside and the full-back couldn't compete. He could only foul.

Sunderland away

Lampard was as unerring as ever with the penalty to join Jimmy Greaves on 132 goals for the club, the all-time fifth highest total.

Sunderland were provoked into two changes by Chelsea's excellence since the break, one of them the replacement of Jones with Fraizer Campbell up front. But the ball was rarely at the end for the rest of the game as the tactics continued to work well, the Blues finding team-mates with ease.

Another great chance came when Cole crossed for Drogba to dive and head down, only to see the ball bounce up and over.

Sunderland away

Deco with his right foot was far more deadly for his first goal for Chelsea since December. All that he needed was a little burst of acceleration on the outside of Collins and then an accurate cross shot which rebounded off the inside post and in. This three points was not to be let slip.

Drogba, ever-involved, was booked for playing on and finishing after being whistled up for offside. Two games gone and unfortunately two highly-avoidable bookings.

He was later replaced by Sturridge and there was also time on the pitch at the end for Shevchenko who was given a big cheer by the happy Chelsea end. It was the younger of the two substitute strikers who had a late shot, but it was curled into the keeper's arms.

By then Sunderland were well finished. Chelsea pick up away from home where we left off last campaign - with three points on Wearside.

Chelsea (4-3-2-1): Cech; Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry (c), A Cole; Ballack, Essien, Lampard; Kalou (Malouda 75), Deco (Shevchenko 86); Drogba (Sturridge 83).
Scorers Ballack 51, Lampard (pen) 60, Deco 69.
Booked Ivanovic 54, Drogba 74.

Sunderland (4-4-2): Fulop; Bardsley, Ferdinand, Collins (c), McCartney; Henderson, Cana, Cattermole (Leadbitter 61), Richardson (Reid 83); Bent, Jones (Campbell 61).
Scorer Bent 17.

PS3 price drop starts tomorrow in US

PlayStation 3 - Image 1

The PS3 Slim isn't the only PS3 model that's coming in at under US$ 300 at retail. In accordance with all of the rumors, Sony has announced a price cut for all PS3s currently available in the US market.

Effective tomorrow, all PS3 systems will get a US$ 100 price cut. If you've been waiting to buy a PS3, now's the time. All that's left now is to see how this price drop will help Sony's sales, as well as what Microsoft will announce to counter it.

Finally - the PS3 Slim unboxed

It's been leaked, it's been called a cheap Chinese knockoff, it's been the subject of rumors for months now. Lo and behold, love it or hate it, it's the long rumored PS3 Slim, unboxed and completely legit. Following the massive Sony GamesCom presscon confirming the new model, GamesRadar US takes the new prize out of the box and into your monitors.

One thing that I like about this model is that the top is level with the base, unlike the one that kinda sticks out in the old PS3. There's the matte finish, and the PS3 marking on top that we saw from the leaked images. It's not as drastic as the PS2 fat-to-slim transition, but the big guy did cut down on some weight.

Certainly looks better now than it did in the leaks. What do you guys think?

PS3 price drops already starting in UK

Is this a sign of things to come? Over in the UK, High Street retailer Asda has reportedly already started discounting their stock of 80GB PS3s. Quite the opposite compared to earlier reports of Xbox 360 Arcades getting a price hike in the region.

The discount offers an 80GB PS3 bundled with two games for UK£ 250 (US$ 408), almost UK£ 50 less than the console's current UK retail price. Some Asda stores seem to have pre-chosen games included in the bundle, although there are also some reports that say buyers can choose between a number of games including LittleBigPlanet, inFamous, Resistance 2, and Killzone 2.

This is being described as a "limited promotion," possibly in anticipation of tomorrow's Sony conference at GamesCom. Speculation has it that Asda is clearing up PS3 stock to make way for the long-rumored PS3 Slim.

CHELSEA 2 HULL CITY 1

MATCH REPORT: CHELSEA 2 HULL CITY 1

Posted on: Sat 15 Aug 2009

Chelsea's happy habit for opening day success continues but it needed a stoppage-time winner from Didier Drogba.

And what a winner it was too, scored from what is traditionally termed an impossible angle - the second of what could be Goal of the Month contenders from the Ivorian.

It was his long-distance free kick shortly before half-time that equalised Stephen Hunt's opener for Hull, who like so many visiting teams at the Bridge in recent years, and indeed themselves last season, were troublesome opponents.

Carlo Ancelotti, if he had any doubts, now knows he is in a competitive league this season, but he also knows he has a special striker to help him with the challenge.

Drogba again played in tandem with Anelka and even at this early stage the team selection is beginning to have a settled look about it.

There was just one change today from the Wembley side of last weekend, José Bosingwa coming in at right back in place of Branislav Ivanovic.

Hull included new-signing Stephen Hunt, ever a villain around these parts for the injury he inflicted on Petr Cech, and the winger did nothing to placate the Stamford Bridge crowd with a studs-high foul into the groin on Lampard before a minute had even been played.

Without delay the Blues were on the attack and Drogba smashed a volley the wrong side of the post when well found by an Essien cross.

Another Drogba volley, from a much less presentable chance, flew well wide soon after and Mikel also shot wide on five minutes.

Hull had their first chance on nine minutes following a long-ball move - Boateng missing with Cech extended. Then Hunt supplied a cross for an unmarked Marney to head off-target. That was slack by Chelsea.

John Mikel Obi battles for the ball

Terry went the closest yet with a header soon after, directing Malouda's corner onto the roof of the net having won the ball with typical determination, and it was the skipper who initially cleared when Hull went straight down the other end and won a corner of their own.

This time the ball fell to Boateng on the edge of the area who forced Cech to save hurriedly with his feet.

The bright start by Ancelotti's men had become stifled by Hull's five-man midfield and throughout the game the chances would not fall to Lampard like they did to others.

However Chelsea broke the shackles on 24 minutes with sheer excellence of passing. Mikel, Lampard and Drogba were all involved before Gardner managed to block Malouda's attempted side-foot finish.

Essien then headed wide at the far post from the corner that followed when he would often have scored.

The first goal scored in this top flight season is not one Chelsea fans will wish to remember for long.

Scored by Hunt who almost celebrated in front of the Chelsea fans in the Shed until he thought better of it, there was plenty of good fortune for Irishman as the ball fell kindly via deflections off Bosingwa and Mikel for a ten-yard finish.

The deflections were on Boateng's original shot after a Mikel clearance, the Dutch midfielder again looking dangerous as he lurked on the edge of the box.

Hull's hope would have been to hold that lead until half time to build the tension. Drogba made sure that didn't happen with yet another special strike.

The decision to award Chelsea a free-kick 30 yards out did not please the Hull management but that was of little concern to our number 11.

Taking aim, he sweetly dipped the ball up and then down into the bottom corner with stunning accuracy.

Drogba celebrates the equaliser

The equaliser had come in the 36th minute and there were three chances for a half-time lead.

Essien's 40th minute volley skipped over the turf and was saved low down by Myhill and then Drogba brilliance forced another save following a turn.

Essien then saw another shot saved shortly after Mendy had become the game's first booking for awful chop on Malouda.

As at Wembley, Ballack replaced Mikel at half-time with Essien dropping deeper and before many were back in their seats, Chelsea could have taken the lead had Anelka not wastefully shot at Myhill when teed-up by Drogba.

Last season's Golden Boot winner was then denied by a good tackle from Dawson when closing in.

Drogba and Carvalho had efforts blocked in one continuous scramble as Chelsea turned up the heat and then Myhill saved from just six yards from Drogba after Terry nodded on from an aerial challenge.

Anelka's half improved with a beautifully-judged pass to Drogba just before the hour but the Ivorian's control deserted him, much to his own clear frustration.

Gardner later dispossessed Lampard as the Chelsea man was on the verge of breaking through. The game was much like many a siege in this stadium in recent years, and there were the first murmurs of frustration from the stands.

Ricardo Carvalho wins the header

On 68 minutes Deco came on from Malouda, Hull at the same time replacing Hunt for another new signing - Kamel Ghilas.

Essien, who wasn't shy about shooting today, cracked another long-range volley a couple of yards wide on 74 minutes, a minute before Bosingwa worked himself some space to test Myhill at the near post.

Ballack struck a rising shot that was deflected on its way over before Ancelotti made his second change, Kalou a straight swap for Anelka. Within seconds the new arrival stretched but could only head over a Deco cross.

Into the last five minutes of normal time, Carvalho met a corner and headed over but then Hull went even closer as Folan's shot deflected wickedly and Cech had to back peddle fast to push to ball over.

There was still hope when six minutes of added time were indicated and there is always hope when Didier Drogba is on the pitch.

It was he who both started and finished the winning move, bursting forward and exchanging passes with Deco before from just a couple of yards from the bye-line, he some how guided the ball over the impressive Myhill and into the far side of the net. Reports are he has admitted a cross was his intention, but it was world class display all the same.

Chelsea (4-1-2-1-2): Cech, Bosingwa Carvalho, Terry (c), A Cole; Mikel (Ballack h-t); Essien, Malouda (Deco 68); Lampard; Anelka (Kalou 78), Drogba.
Scorer Drogba 36, 90+1.

PSPgo: New Firmware and Features

A lot of PSP owners love knowing every single thing about their handhelds, and the upcoming PSP Go is another new toy to disassemble and analyze. We're still roughly a couple of months away from launch, though, so all you tech savvy folks out there might want to look through these specs compiled by Digital Foundry.
First of all, the PSP Go will of course launch with a brand new firmware full of new options and tweakables. The pre-release sample Digital Foundry played around with came with OFW 5.70, although that may change when the Go hits retail. A lot of the differences between the Go's firmware 5.70 and the currently available 5.51 deal with the XMB, specifically the Settings area. Here's what they found:
Network Update is now listed as System Update, but, curiously, has the same options.
Video Settings obviously doesn't have the first four UMD-related toggles.
System Settings now has a "Your Birth Date" option (second from top), and a "Display Panel Close Option" toggle, which allows you to set it to either "Standard" (goes to a clock graphic) or "Enter Sleep Mode". Also "Battery Information" seems to be gone, as do UMD-related options, but there's a "Format System Storage" option in addition to the usual Memory Stick format option.
Power Save Settings loses the "Backlight Auto-Adjust" option for some reason.
There's a new "Bluetooth Device Settings" entry, which consists of a toggle for switching Bluetooth on and off and a "Manage Bluetooth Devices" entry.Another change is the introduction of a new "System Storage" folder similar to the Memory Stick one. This one is for the PSP Go's internal flash storage. The available space for users is 14.74GB formatted in FAT32.Hardware-wise, Sony has introduced a few more proprietary doodads for the PSP Go. The USB cable is reportedly not conventional. The end that attaches to PC is of course the same as the ones we currently have, but the end that connects to the PSP Go itself is described as wider and thinner. The Audio-Video port has also been changed, so your old component cables likely won't work. You can check out more technical details about the PSP Go by clicking on the Via link below. If you wanna wait until you have one in your hands instead, it'll be released in North America and Europe on October 1.

PSP Firmware 5.51 Released

Sony acting suspicious with a [minor] firmware bump… PSP Firmware 5.51 just hit Network Update; you can also grab it below.

So what’s new? Apparently the same ol’ nonsense — improved system software stability during the use of some features. That’s it.

I wouldn’t recommend updating if you’re the hacked but Pandoraless, PSP-3000, or TA-088v3 type.

PSP Firmware 5.50 Released

It’s out — Sony has officially released PSP firmware update version 5.50.

PSP Firmware 5.50 changes:

  • [Information Board] has been added as a feature under [PlayStation®Network]. You can view the latest news from PlayStation®Network.
  • Support for a Web security service provided by Trend Micro™ has been added to [Internet Browser].
  • An icon for [Internet Search] has been added to the menu bar in [Internet Browser].
  • In the options menu for a game under [Game], you can now perform an Internet search using the name of the game as the search keyword.
  • You can now view one more folder level under [Photo], [Music] and [Video].

And this should come as no surprise; Sony failed to mention they’ve patched the TIFF vulnerability rendering the recent exploit useless. Go figure.

So should you upgrade? The choice is yours. I mean, if you have a hacked PSP-1000 or 2000 with a working Pandora Battery, then why not check it out. Otherwise, I recommend you steer clear until the new Homebrew Enabler (HEN) is available.

Sony Launches PSP Video Rental Service In Japan

psn.video.store
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan today announced the arrival of a PSN-driven rental video service on PSP. Like its PS3 counterpart, select titles can now be purchased at a reduced fee and thanks to the wonders of DRM technology, playable for 72 hours following a completed transaction. Additionally, rented titles can be transferred to PS3 via USB connection. Up to ten movies in SD format can be placed on a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo.

Considering this feature is already available to North American PS3 owners, we suspect it’s only a matter of time before Sony implements it on PSP over yonder.

UK High Street retailers say PSP Go is exciting, but download-only model and pricing are still causes for concern

PSP Go - Image 1

UK High Street retailers have said that while the PSP Go -- and the PSP series in general -- has a lot of exciting things coming for it, Sony's decision to opt for the decidedly non-retail friendly model of download-only games is a definite cause for concern. That, and the reportedly high price point.

“There are a number of exciting things coming to fruition on the format and it feels like Sony are almost re-launching it," said Play.com's Keith Sharpe. "Potentially the next two years could be very good for PSP, especially with titles like GT5 (ed: he most likely means Gran Turismo) and LittleBigPlanet on the way.”

HMV's commercial manager for games, Jonathan Hayes, however, points out that despite the PSP Go's great promise, there's still the matter of how Sony will address the retail problem.

“From E3 we all thought that the PSPgo looked like a great new console at a size that makes it truly portable,” he said. “Our concerns are obviously with the non-retail model of downloading games."

“However even if Sony do give retail a solution there are still questions to be answered on the RRP which needs to be below UK£ 200,” Hayes added.

CHIPS' Don McCabe added that so far, customer reaction to the PSP Go has been negative. "I can’t see anybody going for it if Sony confirm a high price tag. If we get customers through the door we will sell it, but that remains to be seen.”

Sony, on the other hand, assured retailers that they're still a key part of the company's plans and that they'll still be supported "in terms of the PSP-3000":

In terms of the 3000, we’re undertaking an unprecedented amount of activity throughout the summer and Christmas periods, highlighting the new range of colours, and for the first time in a long while, a range of first and third party software titles that really showcase the power and full potential of the PSP hardware.

I’d argue that this commitment, from a marketing, sales and PR perspective, demonstrates our long term investment in the platform, and we see retail as a key part of these plans.

Japan to get porn service for PS3

Yuma Asami - Image 1The PS3. Gaming console, Blu-ray player, multimedia powerhouse, and pretty soon in Japan, the big black box of porn. Leave it to Japan to give owners more reason to love their PS3s - DDM.tv is gonna launch a porn-on-demand service for the Sony PlayStation 3, bringing top quality HD adult films straight into your TV screens. Minors, be advised. How many times have I said that lately?

Anyway, this porn-on-demand service doesn't need much to work on your PS3. Just the usual broadband, HDMI cable, and a PS3 in working order and you're good to go. Before downloading, users must log onto the DMM.tv site, where they can search for titles, pornstars, and yes, genre.

In case you're curious, titles include Yuma Asami and One Hundred Onanists. What's an Onanist? Google it, I'm not posting that here haha.
