Good news, Wii fans! Nintendo has made the Wii Internet Channel available for free from now on! Yep, no more of that 500 Wii Points requirement (US$ 5). Free. Free. Free.
But what about those who already did shell out the five bucks? Not to worry, cos starting the end of October, Nintendo will be giving away one NES game of their choice from the Virtual Channel, of the same value as the 500 Wii Points downloaded for the Internet Channel. Plus! There's also an upgrade in the form of Adobe Flash Lite 3.1, perfect for all your YouTube needs.
