Head To Head: Console Vs. Tablet. Which Device Is Better? - The Final Word

As you can see right now, the playing field between tablets and consoles remains pretty even with good reason. In some senses it's hard to say that any one of these is better than the other simply because I think they kind of serve entirely different audiences with their own unique needs. If you want something that is going to play your triple A titles with ease, then it's a no brainer to pick a console. Still, if you're a more casual gamer that likes to play a round every now and again while on the train or in the library then maybe a tablet is a better fit.

The issue with this battle is these are two options that serve their audience extraordinarily well, but the priority is different. That means which one you like best is going to depend on your own needs. All that being said, if it were up to me I personally would pick consoles because I would rather play a full featured game and I have a laptop to get my advanced computing done. If you want something that is multifunctional and easy to use however, then I see nothing wrong with tablets.
